My name is Kelly Johnson. I enjoy reading, writing, and visiting museums. I have a passion for reading and telling stories, especially those of the past, ancient cultures, and how they relate to museums and the events of today. I hope that everyone feels comfortable visiting a museum or library and will do so. I want to make sure people feel empowered to visit a museum. My articles give them tips on this.

I have a Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts from The University of St. Thomas, in Houston Texas. 

I took a creative writing class led by Alexis Glen Latner over ten years ago. I found it to be a fun and informative creative outlet. My desire to write has never left me, so I created this website. My background as a security guard in a museum setting led to the same questions being asked over and over. See my top ten tips for museum visitors.

My website, Loveofmuses.net, and the content I create for my YouTube channel are closely related, although sometimes one will feature content that the other does not.

I want to finish the Facebook Article on Milby High School by visiting the school to see its papers on the train bell and how it came to Houston, Texas. I also seek to collaborate with other writers through networking and continue my education.
